The National Senior Games

The National Senior Games presented by Humana is the premier event of the NSGA. To date, there have been 16 national championships in cities throughout the country. In 2019, The Games will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from June 14-June 25th.

The National Senior Games is a 19-sport, biennial national championship for men and women 50 and over. It is the largest multi-sport event in the world for senior athletes.

On average, almost 700 athletes travel to The National Senior Games, which are held every non-Olympic year.  Florida consistently ranks in the top 5 state delegations and in the top 3 medal winners.

Medal-contending competitions for the 2019 Games include Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Race Walk, Road Race, Cycling, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Racquetball, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Triathlon and Volleyball.

The 2018 Florida Senior Games is a qualifier for the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico and will be held December 1-9, 2018, in Clearwater, Florida.

The Florida Sports Foundation is a proud member of the National Senior Games Association, a member organization consisting of 50 State Senior Games and Senior Games programs from all over the nation.
