TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A slight adjustment has been made to the 2019 Florida Senior Games presented by Humana Cycling events as the 10K Time Trial has been canceled on Friday, December 6.

The 5K Time Trial is still on as schedule, to begin at 10:00 a.m., as well as the 20K and 40K road races on Sunday, December 8.

“The Florida Senior Games is committed to having the best all-around experience for our athletes, spectators, officials, and families,” stated Marvin E. Green, Jr., Florida Sports Foundation’s Vice President of Amateur Sports. “By eliminating the 10K time trial, we are advocating for the safety and integrity of the event as a whole. Doing so, will continue to give our competitors a chance to test their training and inner competition in the time trial while also giving riders the opportunity to preview the course for Sunday’s longer distances.”
