2025 Florida Senior Games, December 6-14, Florida's Sports Coast/Pasco County

The Florida Sports Foundation proudly announces the renewal of its partnership with Florida’s Sports Coast to host the Florida Senior Games through 2028. This continued collaboration marks another exciting chapter for Pasco County, following three years of thrilling competition and over 7,600 athletes, aged 50%2B showcasing their talent and spirit.

“Florida’s Sports Coast was a generous and welcoming host community for the last three years of the Florida Senior Games,” said Florida Sports Foundation President/CEO, Maicel Green. “We look forward to another successful four years in Pasco County. The resources Florida’s Sports Coast provides the athletes of the Games, make it a first-class host community. It provides top-notch facilities, a vast array of local amenities and it is located in an easy-to-reach centrally located area of the state”

Throughout the four-year agreement, Florida’s Sports Coast will host the Florida Senior Games for two National Senior Games qualifying years.

  • The 2026 Games will be a qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games, to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
  • The 2028 Games will be a qualifier for the 2029 National Senior Games, in Birmingham, Alabama.

We’re thrilled to welcome the Senior Games back through 2028 and look forward to continuing to provide a world-class experience for competitors and spectators alike.”

The Florida Senior Games is an annual Olympic-style Sports Festival for athletes aged 50 and over.  The 34th Annual Games, scheduled for, December 6-14, 2025, features over 20 sports in various locations in Pasco County.

Locations utilized over the last three years include the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County, Pasco County Schools, Mouratoglou Tennis Academy Zephyrhills, the Zephyrhills Shuffleboard Club, the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Center, Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, Pin Chasers Zephyrhills, Saint Leo University, and more.

About the Florida Senior Games
The Florida Senior Games, is an annual program of the Florida Sports Foundation, the official sports promotion and development organization of the state of Florida.  The Games began in 1992 and since that time have provided athletes aged 50 and over the opportunity to compete in healthy activities throughout the state.  The Florida Senior Games also provides the athletes camaraderie and long-time friendships only found in participating in sports.
